This course is a module of the first-year programme, the Advanced programme in pastoral narrative therapy.

This course (also a module of the first year of the Advanced Programme in Pastoral Narrative Therapy [PNT1]) goes deeper into different ideas of narrative therapy as encountered in the first narrative module. The metaphor of a map is used to venture into important practices that give expression to narrative therapy. It is the third module of PNT1 (and the second, last, module that deals specifically with narrative therapy during the first year).

This module/course is part of the pastoral care modules that together deal with Theology as Meaning System for Pastoral Practitioners Block 1: Narrative pastoral care (introducing the conversation). This module/course also the second module of the Advanced Programme in Pastoral Narrative Therapy.

This course/module further enriches learners' understanding of pastoral care by unpacking discourses one will encounter in pastoral care. It is the second, last, module of the pastoral care block of PNT1, Theology as Meaning System for Pastoral Practitioners. It forms the fourth, and last, module of the first year of PNT.
