Pastoral and narrative perspectives
About enrollment
This course was presented live on 3-4 March 2023. It is an annual short course, presented as part of the formal CPD programme.
How long will learners have access to the course?
Learners will have access to the course from one month up to the remainder of the year depending on how they are registered. This will allow them to complete the course at a reasonable pace. Learners can request more time and should then email us. Thereafter learners are disenrolled in the group and will not have access to the course anymore as courses are subject to continual updates and value enhancements.
If, however, a learner already takes part in a longer programme on this website, such as the pastoral narrative therapy programme or the supervision programme they will continue to have access to any of the courses or modules they attended for the duration of the longer programme.
Do consider to support our Seeds of Hope campaign. This allows us to help create communities of hope as a public benefit organisation. For learners who contribute to our seeds of hope campaign, a R100 per month donation, they have continued access as long as they remain part of the community via their seeds of hope contribution, even after they have completed their formal training with us.
If a student have completed any four CPD courses they have unlocked a community based fee which means they can enrol for any of the formal CPD courses in future at this very low fee (R139/month)
For those who completed the Supervision practitioner programme once, the fee is R149/ month).
For those who completed both Supervision and CPD the fee is R229/month.
The fee to redo any part of the Advanced Programme in Pastoral Narrative Therapy (live) is R500/ month (donation based), or R100 (non-live meaning it includes Narrative Academy access to all the modules, future updates, and forums but excludes live attendance). Donation based fees qualify for tax reduction certificates. Upon request we will issue an section 18A tax reduction certificate on the amount of contributions during the year that the contributor must submit to SARS with their taxes in the tax year.
