About enrollment
Participants should register from the public page: coramdeo.co.za/narrative-therapy-introduction-courses/ Thereafter please reach out to us on info@coramdeo.co.za and we will then load you on the relevant group that has access to the course material.
Recordings provided are from the most recent presentation of the course. Participants will in some cases also see additional material from earlier presentations.
The way courses are developed
- A first public version of the course simply contains the audio files of the sessions during the live training (unless video is shown in which case you are already seeing one of the later versions).
- The second version will contain edited but unproduced video links.
- In the third version additional material may be provided and possibly also transcripts.
- With time some courses are marked for an expanded online experience by creating studio produced material as the primary experience (in addition to unproduced raw class recorded video).
- More videos will be loaded with each consecutive occurrence the course is presented.
How long will learners have access to the course?
Learners will have access to the course up to the next instance of live presentation. This means they can continue to engage the Coram Deo community and lectures in the relevant group dedicated to the course as well as have access to senior students from the practitioner collective that can help make any of the concepts and ideas in the course practical.
Access up to next live presentation will allow especially those who do he self-paced version of the course (via recordings) to complete the course at a reasonable pace.
At some point, however, prior to the next live presentation learners will be disenrolled in the group and will not have access to the course anymore. The reason for this is that our courses are continually updated, thereby creating more value.
If, however, a learner already takes part in a longer programme on this website, such as the pastoral narrative therapy programme or the supervision programme they will continue to have access to recordings of any of the courses or modules they attended for the duration of the longer programme.
Consider taking out a R100 per month membership whereby learners can retain access to all material, supplementary videos, and all future recordings. This means learners will be supporting our Seeds of Hope campaign. This allows us to help create communities of hope as a public benefit organisation. For learners who contribute to our seeds of hope campaign, a R100 per month donation, they have continued access to any course they have completed once, as long as they remain part of the community via their seeds of hope contribution, even after they have completed their formal training with us.
Those who support us in this way can also then join our Coram Care, free. It takes place on most Thursday mornings. The focus of Coram Care is to act as a care-community especially to those who work with people. Sometimes it unpacks narrative and pastoral ideas, there is often a contemplative opening, at times it deals with metaphors and images of care. This becomes the care-tribe that cheers you on in life and relationships. It is not a teaching programme, per se, but a community and a good one at that if you want to nourish your heart and be inspired. Start by filling out the Seeds of Hope form above and we will then send you information relevant to joining Coram Care.
