Tales of practice
Tales of practice is a space/class/event where current students (the primary audience), public and other practitioners can meet practitioners or lecturers or other affiliated Coram Deo people of interest – to learn from the practitioner’s journey and reflect on their own.
Tales of practice is a Coram Deo learning initiative in which Coram Deo persons of interest are interviewed about their practice or field of interest. It is hosted by and takes place in the context of supervision classes. Persons of interest are typically former students, former or current lecturers, counsellors, academics or general practices in the helping professions.
The following type of questions are posed:
- Meeting the practitioner on a personal level
- About counselling
- Counselling and approach
- Questions about practice
- Closing questions to the group
