WHAT

This is a closed group for those who attend the current year’s introductory course in narrative therapy called ‘Meeting narrative therapy.’ Public information is available here. http://coramdeo.co.za/narrative-therapy-introduction-courses/

The course serves as a recap for current students. Under certain conditions it is also a bridging course for students who enroled late for the advanced programme in narrative therapy. After the live presentation of the course, recordings are kept on the group. New participants can attend self-paced througout the year (from April) but they will not be able to use the course as a bridging course into the standard programme.

ACCESS

The course can be accessed through the ‘course’ tab of this group, which may not be available immediately. If it is not displayed it will be displayed a day or two prior to the next live presentation.
A Zoom class link is issued in the week of the live presentation, normally by Wednesday before the live presentation of the Friday but will also be posted here.

Participants retain access to the course recordings until the next instance of when the introductory course is presented.

FEES

Course fees are indicated here. Once notification of payment is received, a website administrator will accept your ‘request to join’ the group. Group members have automatic access to the course via the ‘course’ tab.

SCOPE OF MATERIAL

This introduction to narrative therapy covers all the material that students did from the beginning of the year. As such it is not only an introductory short course but also a bridging course through which any new student can continue with the standard course directly after attending the bridging course.

ATTENDANCE AND CERTIFICATION

A Coram Deo certificate will be available to download from the last lesson page in the week following the live class.
The University of Pretoria certificates are only issued once during the year and there is an additional cost for that certificate of between R200-R400 depending on interest. This fee must only be paid later upon request.

No certificates are issued if the attendance register is not filled out (irrespective of attending live or self-paced). The attendance register is embedded in the lesson pages.
